22 July 2021 377
What is SIM Hosting?
SIM Hosting is a service available on www.freesmsplan.com , introduced more than 2 years ago, with the aim of delivering SMS to all phone numbers irrespective of their DND status. As a matter of fact, the DND policy was the primary reason behind building this system that has served thousands of our customers over the years.
Since its inception, this service has continued to grow in leaps and bounds, with many new features added, and a lot of improvements made as we continually receive your regular feedback on it.
Benefit(s) of Using the SIM Hosting Service
As earlier mentioned, the main purpose of the SIM Hosting service is to avoid the countless policies affecting SMS delivery, with DND and phone number portability being at the top of them all. With the SIM Hosting service, this issue is not present. Freesmsplan.com
Another benefit of the SIM Hosting service is that you can deliver SMS for as low as 1.85K per SMS, both to DND and non-DND numbers, which is rare for most delivery routes.
This service was developed by us in-house, and hence we have the needed control over it, which we can’t really say for bulk SMS sent through the operators’ delivery binds.
How to Apply for the SIM Hosting Service
The process of applying for the SIM Hosting service is a very simple and easy one. Follow the steps enumerated below to apply:
Get a SIM card of any network of your choice from SIM card vendors or the operators’ office in your locality.
Register the SIM card according to the NCC requirement, and of course, the federal government requirement to link your NIN with it.
Send us the registered SIM card along with a valid means of identification, which can be a copy of your national ID card (if an individual) or your CAC registration (if a business entity).
N:B: The aim of the means of identification is to be able to properly link your hosted SIM card with an owner, which helps to protect you and us from scam messages.
You can send the SIM and means of ID through courier services or transport and delivery companies.
